We were tired of hearing how expensive and difficult managing a fleet was so we developed Dispatch Dog to give our customers the tools they needed to keep their trucks on the road, their drivers safely working and the costs of administrative overhead down.

From the very beginning, we wanted to improve the trucking industry
The idea behind Dispatch Dog was born out of a shared frustration experienced by Winston and Jie during their time in Canada. It all started when Winston was visiting family and found himself disappointed by the slow delivery of a package he ordered from Amazon. Drawing from his extensive experience in the logistics industry in China, Winston knew that there was significant room for improvement in the last mile delivery sector.
Jie, who was studying at a university in Toronto, had also faced similar challenges with Canada's last mile delivery services. The inefficiencies in the industry were glaring and the pair realized that there was a massive opportunity for innovation that could greatly enhance the end-user experience, not only in Canada but also in the US.
Motivated by their shared vision, Winston and Jie set out to build a team of dedicated and skilled professionals to tackle the challenges faced by the logistics industry. They knew that in order to create lasting change, they needed a group with diverse backgrounds and expertise that could provide unique perspectives and creative solutions. This led them to bring together an exceptional team, including Jane, Li Chengrui, and Wendy, each with their own valuable skill sets and experiences.
Together, they founded Dispatch Dog with the mission of revolutionizing the logistics software landscape by providing cutting-edge and tailored solutions to small and medium-sized logistics companies. Their shared passion for improvement, combined with their belief in the power of teamwork, has driven the company to create innovative software solutions that optimize the logistics industry and significantly improve the delivery experience for countless customers in Canada and the US.
